It’s really cool how there’s so much great content about topics that even a few years ago felt hyper-niche. This is a recent episode from NPR’s Life Kit podcast about learning your heritage language(s).

When I started this project, I wasn’t familiar with the term “Heritage Language Learner” and I approached language learning similar to learning a foreign language. This episode goes into how learning your family’s language differs from language a new language. It’s the type of thing I’d wish I’d known from the beginning but I’m glad I know it now.
