Lately, I've been thinking about how as children of immigrants, our perception of our cultures, is often based on our parents' memories of their countries at the time when they left. But those cultures have continued to evolve in their absence, meaning that my understanding of my family cultures is actually just perceptions of their memories.

To reconnect with these cultures, I'll need to find ways to experience those places in real-time. So I hired someone to be my surrogate body for me to control remotely, in order to experience Mexico in real-time! Click below to check out a preview of how it went.
